User-Friendly Interface

The interface is friendly and straightforward. It looks a bit like Notepad++, with everything you need right there in front of you. The window is split into three main parts: a tree view, an editor section, and quick toolbars at your fingertips. If you find some toolbars annoying, you can easily turn them off in the settings.

Adding New Entries

When you want to add something new, just open a file in one of the many supported formats like CDR, CSV, HTM, HTML, JOT, KNT, RTF, TXT, or XML. You can also create a fresh entry by giving it a title and filling in the content. Simple!

Organizing Your Notes

Once you've got your main entry set up (or as we call it—a parent node), you can add as many child entries as you need! Each note can have its own icon chosen from predefined options by right-clicking on it. You can also include details like title, subject, author name, keywords or comments—plus pick a specific color for each note. Need to print or search for something? No problem! And if something goes wrong? Just use the undo and redo buttons to fix it.

Text Processing Features

If you're entering text into your note body, Jot+ Notes offers a rich text processor with tons of font choices and styles. You can play around with different sizes and colors too! Want bullet points or numbered lists? You got it! It even lets you align paragraphs and adjust indentations easily.

Inserting Extras

You can spice up your notes by inserting date and time stamps or adding symbols and images (like JPEGs or BMPs). Plus—custom hotkeys are available if you'd like to switch things up. There’s even room for extra plugins if you're looking to expand the software’s capabilities!
