Kyktir is a handy tool that can save you a ton of time when you're dealing with files. With so many file types out there, it’s easy to feel lost about what each one does. Plus, if you want to peek at what's inside these files, you often need to download a bunch of different apps just for that.
Thanks to Kyktir, you can skip the hassle of installing all those extra programs. This app allows you to preview files without cluttering your computer with tons of software just to check out one or two documents.
Setting up Kyktir is super easy and quick! You won’t have to fuss over complicated installation steps. Once it’s up and running, you'll see a clean, minimalistic interface that focuses mainly on showing you the content of your files.
You can start using Kyktir by clicking on the Open option from the File menu. Just a heads up: this app doesn’t support drag-and-drop features right now. But don’t worry! It does filter through readable files, so once you've selected what you want, you'll be able to view it right away.
The catch? Currently, Kyktir only supports three file formats: EMF, PDF, and PCL5. While it's not an extensive list, being able to open these kinds of files can still save you time and make things easier—like checking out print jobs from someone else's work.
It would be awesome if Kyktir could handle more file formats in the future. That way, you'd be able to access all sorts of older documents without needing extra utilities. The good news is that the developer has mentioned they plan on adding more support down the line!
If you're looking for a simple tool that helps you view data from PDF, EMF, and PCL5 files easily, then why not give Kyktir a try!
