LAN Find is a super easy-to-use software that helps you search for files and folders on other computers over your local network, just like its name suggests. It’s perfect for all kinds of users, whether you're tech-savvy or just getting started.

Simple Installation Process

After a quick installation that's totally hassle-free, you’ll see a straightforward window pop up. This window shows a list of all your network connections, any Microsoft terminal services, and your local drives right away. It’s designed to be user-friendly from the get-go!

Your Search Results Made Easy

Once the scanning is done, the main screen displays everything you need: the name, path, size, and even the dates for when each file was created and last modified. This makes it super simple to keep track of what you’re looking for.

Customizing Your Search

You can make your search even better by adding filters like file or folder masks, sizes, dates, or specific text that might be in the files. Plus, if you want to organize your results list, you can sort items however you'd like! You can also save this list as an external file for later use in formats like M3U, HTML, HTM, XML, or TXT.

Extra Features at Your Fingertips

This tool lets you quickly find items within your results list. You can copy files or move them around easily too! Want to set up regular searches? You can schedule tasks and even map out network drives from here. The Options panel lets you create an icon in your system tray and customize the columns to fit your needs.

Light on Resources

One great thing about LAN Find is that it uses very little CPU and memory—so it won’t slow down other programs you're running. It responds quickly and gets through scans in no time without freezing or crashing. We’ve had zero issues during our tests! Just keep in mind that LAN Find hasn’t been updated in quite some time.
