Leaf is a program that allows users to create their own virtual computer LAN. It's built to eliminate any eventual proxies and lag problems, while offering top-notch connection performance with your friends.

All users have to do is create a new account, make sure that Leaf is exempted from the firewall, and they are ready to go. Leaf offers a basic and colorful interface where users can easily see how they can create a new network, share files, and add members to that closed connection.

Although it does claim that users can enter in a closed virtual connection without any proxies, Leaf is, however, a proxy itself. When it comes to general parameters, users should check the program's priority in order to get it exempted by the firewall. However, this setting doesn't work very well sometimes so it's advisable to add it to firewall exemptions manually so it can connect to Leaf servers.

Users can tweak their connection settings, via port forwarding and proxy options. The latter one allows users to introduce in-depth authentication credentials. Also, in case the firewall still poses some problems to your connection, users can bypass them manually by introducing additional information in the program concerning their system's protection.
