Lively Weather

Talking about the weather may be kind of a boring topic to discuss, but it’s always good to know the forecast for your location. Most users now prefer to check their phone to see the conditions for their area, but what about computers?

If a stylish weather app is what you seek, then Lively Weather is indeed a springy one. It will provide the meteorological conditions for any area of your choosing, as well as display a sleek-looking backdrop, making the whole design somewhat reminiscent of the iOS Weather app.

Starting with the app is a simple process. You boot it up, then type in the location for which you wish to see the weather. The program will then return the forecast for the current day, replete with details about the weather: sunrise and sunset times, humidity and UV index levels, as well as air quality, pressure, and wind metrics will be provided.

Quick forecasts for the coming week are also shown on the same menu, along with the respective temperatures for each hour. All of this in front of a very stylish backdrop, I should say. Perhaps that’s the highlight here: visually, it looks very pleasing and somewhat calming, even.

The end user can view each of the available backdrops for different weather conditions by clicking the Screensaver button. As such, you will be able to set a quite eye-catching screensaver: cycle through the available backgrounds and tweak them to your liking.

As far as tweaking is concerned, you can modify all kinds of parameters such as the intensity of the rain, the size and speed of the droplets, as well as the amount of processing applied. There’s a wide enough selection that should satisfy most users’ needs.
