LSL Editor

LSL Editor is a lightweight and portable software application that lets you seamlessly edit, compile and debug LSL syntax codes. It offers support for syntax highlighting

As there is no setup kit involved, you can drop the executable file anywhere on the disk and just click it to run. There is also the possibility to save it to a pen drive to directly launch it on any computer effortlessly. It doesn't modify Windows registry settings.

The GUI doesn't stand out in the visual department but it's simple to navigate. As previously mentioned, syntax highlighting is supported, so you can spot blocks of code easier.

You can use a find-and-replace function, jump to a particular line number, format the entire document or just the selected area, add comments, as well as view the solution explorer.

LSL Editor lets you add new objects and items, run a syntax checker and start code debugging, make file association, customize the fonts and colors, as well as enable auto completion, among others.

As expected, the app had minimal impact on the overall performance of the computer in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed low CPU and memory to work properly. No error dialogs popped up, and it didn't hang or crash.
