Memory Monitor

Memory Monitor is a very simple application created to help users monitor RAM and CPU usage.

Although it’s supposed to show data concerning the CPU and the RAM, there’s absolutely nothing to worry about and the design of the GUI proves that it all comes down to simplicity.

After you launch the app for the first time, Memory Monitor shows the physical memory and the CPU usage with the help of very simple progress bars, but the program also displays the percent used, total, available and used RAM.

The only available configuration settings concern the start type and position, letting you launch the app in the default location or minimized to Tray.

Just as expected, Memory Monitor has a very low footprint on system performance and doesn’t slow down the workstation in any way, running on low resources all the time.

A help manual is missing from the package, but that’s not at all a problem given the reduced number of features. Still, there are things to be improved and the lack of more advanced tools may become frustrating for many people who’d like to use this app on a regular basis.

Overall, Memory Monitor was developed to serve a single purpose: to show memory and CPU usage. It does that with minimum effort, although using a dedicated app just for such a simple thing may be a waste of time for many users out there.
