Memory Washer is a powerful memory optimization tool that’s supposed to boost the overall performance of your computer, while also offering a bunch of other utilities to enhance the whole process.
Although it’s addressed to beginners and more experienced users alike, Memory Washer relies on a very professional-looking interface, with graphs placed right in the main window to help you track memory usage history and CPU usage.
What’s more, it shows lots of statistics, including total, used and available memory, maximum size, used and available paging file, system uptime, running processes and Windows version.
A memory optimization feature is also available right in the main window, with a simple slider to let you configure the memory amount to free.
The good thing is that Memory Washer also comprises features to automatically optimize memory either at a user-defined interval or when free physical memory reaches a configured value.
Besides memory optimization, the application tries to attract more experienced users with a bunch of other tools, including a process manager to see running processes and terminate the unused ones. A startup manager to control the startup items and a system restore utility are also included in the package.
Memory Washer places an icon in the System Tray because it’s supposed to run all the time, but the program doesn’t affect the overall system performance at all.
It runs smoothly on all Windows versions, without requiring administrator privileges on Windows 7 workstations. That being said, Memory Washer is clearly one of the best products in this particular category, boosting computer performance while also offering a pack of extra tools.
