Mine Sweeper

Mine Sweeper is a Yahoo! widget designed as a replica of the well-known single-player video game, Minesweeper, where you need to reveal a minefield without detonating a mine.

The user interface is simple and offers quick access to only a few configuration settings to tinker with.

Mine Sweeper gives users the possibility to change the window size and adjust the difficulty level by specifying the maximum number of mines.

For those who are familiar with the rules of the game, the entire process should be nothing but a child’s play. You have to deduce which squares are mine-free, and in case a mine is revealed, the player loses the game. In some cases, when it’s not possible to logically reveal the minefield, you have to guess where the mines are hidden.
