Why Use MinifyMe?

No need to fiddle with settings—everything happens automatically! Just download and install Adobe Air if you don't have it already because this app needs it to run. Once you have Adobe Air set up, launching MinifyMe is a breeze. It opens in a small window where you can drag and drop your CSS and JS files right from Windows Explorer or any other file manager.

How to Compress Files

If you're looking to compress more than one file at once, just hold down the Ctrl or Shift key while clicking on the files. You can even hit Ctrl+A to select everything in a folder! But remember, if there are any unsupported files in your selection, those can't be dropped into MinifyMe.

File Handling

When you're processing multiple files, they will all be combined into one single compressed file instead of separate ones. MinifyMe automatically names this new file pack.css and saves it in the same spot as the original files. Be careful though! If you try to compress another file in the same folder, it will replace the existing pack.css without asking for confirmation. So keep an eye on that!

The Results

You'll find that MinifyMe creates smaller files really quickly! But here's something to keep in mind: there's not much customization available, and it's not clear how exactly it compresses the files. If you're okay with that, then it's definitely worth checking out!
