MiniRadio

MiniRadio is a desktop gadget that provides direct access to a predefined list of radio stations, while allowing you to input custom channels. It includes many handy options and it is simple to use.

The interface is based on a small frame whose size can be increased. You can also change its front from the Options panel.

All you have to do is browse through a lengthy drop-down list for your favorite radio station and tune in with the simple click of a button.

Besides stopping the stream, you can adjust the volume level by clicking two buttons (the mouse scrollwheel and arrow keys do not work).

It is possible to organize lists with internal and external stations, and perform a few nifty operations (e.g. backup active stations, add an empty station). There are no other options available for this widget. Unfortunately, you cannot use a search function or mark channels as favorites for easier access.

The small gadget is not a concern to the system's overall performance, since it uses low CPU and RAM. It delivers quality audio and is not intrusive, so you can use it even when working in other programs. We have not come across any issues in our tests, as the app did not hang or crash. Aside from some adjustments in the feature and looks departments, MiniRadio should satisfy all users.
