Mocha W32 TN5250 is a handy terminal emulator for accessing AS/400 systems, especially designed for Windows XP and older. If you're using a newer Windows version, don’t worry! You can still run it by switching to compatibility mode for Windows XP. But if you’re on Windows 7, 8, or 10, you might want to check out Mocha TN5250 for those systems.
This app comes packed with features! It supports SSL and includes all the standard 5250 emulation tools you’ll need. Plus, you can easily switch between different screen sizes—24x80px or 27x132px—depending on what works best for you. The main window has a classic black background which many users find easy on the eyes.
You’ll find options in the menu bar, toolbar, and even through right-clicking. When it’s time to connect to your AS/400 host, you can dive into advanced settings without any hassle.
