MyFm

Developed for the Yahoo! Widget Engine, MyFm is a simple widget that gives users fast access to MyFm 101.8, the Chinese radio station from Malaysia. It is quite easy to install and set up, as it doesn't bundle customization preferences.

The interface is made from a small frame that automatically loads the station at initialization. You can move it to any spot on the screen by dragging it with the mouse cursor, as well as make it stay on top of other windows. This way, you can easily control the widget while working with other applications at the same time.

Aside from accessing MyFm's website, you can adjust the volume level or mute it. Unfortunately, you cannot use the mouse scrollwheel or arrow keys to so do.

The widget transmits quality audio and uses a very low quantity of CPU and memory, so it doesn't affect computer performance or intervene in user activity. No error dialogs have been shown in our tests, and the app did not hang or crash.

Unfortunately, the Yahoo! Widget Engine project has been discontinued, so MyFm shall not be receiving further updates. Other than that, the tool can be easily handled, even by users with little or no experience in software apps.
