Nanopad

Nanopad is a small software application developed specifically for helping you work with a simple text editor. The text editor is so basic that Notepad provides far more advanced features than this particular one. It is suitable only for taking quick notes.

The tool is portable so you can store it on pen drives or other removable devices in order to carry it with you all the time. Plus, you may run it directly from the storage device and open it on the host PC without having to apply administrative privileges.

It does not populate your Windows registry with extra entries and leave remnants on the target computer so you may uninstall it by deleting the executable file that you have downloaded from the Internet. You do not have to go through an installation process to open its GUI. A double-click on the EXE file does the job.

You are welcomed by an intuitive and clean environment where you can input text on the fly. You are allowed to move the main window to the preferred position on the screen using drag-and-drop actions and resize it according to your preferences.

What’s more, the application offers you the possibility to type in the text message or paste it from the clipboard, undo your actions, delete or cut data, as well as copy the selected information to the clipboard so you can paste it into other third-party tools. You cannot export data to a file on your PC.

Tests have pointed out that Nanopad carries out tasks quickly and without errors. It remains light on system resources so you may keep it running it the background without having to worry that it affects the overall performance of the computer.
