A common, popular Internet resources is made up of pictures, especially with all the social networks emphasizing almost everything through them. Multiple galleries can be viewed offline, but if you want to include one in your website, Net Album Generator comes with just the right tools for the task.
Once launched, the application requires you to start a new project, because the initial main window is filled after you go through the album setup. Luckily, creating the album doesn’t take a lot of time, nor effort, and this is because of the wizard-driven process which gradually takes you through all options, with detailed descriptions so you don’t get stuck along the way.
Sadly, you can only work with JPEG pictures, but these can either be dropped over the target area through multiple selection, or you can just target an entire folder to have its content automatically read. The wizard is also fitted with an interactive preview area, at least when reaching the template editor, so you can easily view the different presets at your disposal.
Further along the way, the application provides the means to configure thumbnail, and image specifications. These allow you to set size, as well as border color, and width. Once done, you’re taken back to the main window, with all images available in a list, so you can sort them out, EXIF values, and a preview area, with which you can interact.
All details you encounter in the wizard setup process can easily be accessed from dedicated menu items. Before closing the wizard, there’s the possibility to build the album, or you can take one last look over preferences in the main window. It doesn’t take a lot of time to generate the new album under the HTML format you can easily view in your web browser.
All things considered, we come to the conclusion that Net Album Generator is a straightforward application which helps you bundle your collection of photos into an album you can then include in your web projects. It does feel a little rough around the edges, with somewhat confusing initial configuration, but in the end, you can quickly obtain the HTML album under one of different style presets.
