The main window shows you a list of systems on one side and scanning results in a neat table on the other. If you'd rather run it on any system, no problem! You just need admin login info, and it'll work for any user.
NET-SMART automatically scans your local network to find connected stations and check out their hard drive status. You can set it up to scan just the computer it's installed on or even look through a specific range of IP addresses.
The app quickly returns results from its hard drive analysis as soon as you pick one of the available stations from the list. The computers detected can be sorted into categories like suspect (if there's something wrong with the hard drive), healthy, unavailable (not showing up on the network), or S.M.A.R.T. unsupported.
NET-SMART reads hard drive details using local monitoring tools and sends them right back to your station! It can tell you about HDD model, size, temperature, plus raw data about power cycles and how often it's been turned on. Each parameter comes with several values: current state, worst case scenario, or threshold limits.
