If you wish to open an existing document, it can only handle TXT formats, however, by copying and pasting the text to and from the clipboard, you can basically enter any type of content. Unfortunately, when the window is resized to a smaller dimension, the remaining text can only be viewed by using the keyboard arrows, as there is no scroll bar.

It's possible to change the composition font type, style, size, and color, along with the panel background, and the word wrap enabled. The tool only lets you insert the date/time, without the choice of entering pictures, tables, or highlight hyperlinks.

The language can be changed either from the menu or by right-clicking on the panel. It would've been a nice touch, if the app came with encryption or password system, to protect the data from prying eyes.
