NetworkConnectLog is a handy tool that helps you see all the computers connecting and disconnecting from your network. This little utility is super portable and comes with a cool exporting feature for any info it gathers.
The best part? You don’t even have to install it! Just drop the executable file into any folder on your computer, and you're good to go. Want to use it on a different machine? No problem! Just save NetworkConnectLog on a USB stick or any removable drive, and run it straight from there without installing anything else.
Since this tool is portable, it won’t clutter your Windows registry or add unnecessary entries in your Start menu. That means your hard drive stays clean after you’re done using it!
The interface is super easy to navigate. As soon as you start the program, you'll see a list filled with IP addresses, event times, computer names, workgroups, MAC addresses, and even the name of the network adapter's company.
If you want to keep track of specific entries, you can easily select one or more items from the list and export that information in formats like TXT, HTML, XML, or CSV. If there are too many entries to scroll through, just use the search feature to find exactly what you're looking for.
You can customize how things look too! Adjust grid lines, tooltips, and column sizes. You can change how MAC addresses are displayed and even show time in GMT. Plus, if you want to hide certain scanned IPs or set an IP address range for scanning purposes—it's all possible!
NetworkConnectLog is light on system resources yet performs quickly when scanning your local network. We didn’t encounter any issues during testing at all! To wrap up, this nifty tool does an excellent job of detecting which computers connect and disconnect from your network—and it’s really easy to figure out how to use!
