NHL Scoreboard

NHL Scoreboard is a very simplistic widget for your desktop that shows the latest scores from NHL games, by retrieving data from FOX Sports on MSN. It is easy to install and set up, even if you have little or no experience with software applications.

The interface of the tool is based on a very small frame that you can move to any position on the screen, with the help of the mouse cursor. It automatically shows the NHL scores for the current day on the screen.

Unfortunately, NHL Scoreboard doesn't comprise any other options or configuration settings of its own. However, thanks to the options supplied by Windows by default, you can set the frame to stay on top of other windows, and set its opacity level to a preset value, ranging from 20% to 100%.

The small widget is very low-demanding when it comes to the CPU and memory. It has a good response time to commands and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. On the downside, it has not been updated for a long time. Other than that, first-time users can quickly learn how to work with NHL Scoreboard.
