Getting Started with Nightshade

Before jumping in, make sure you have enough space on your computer. This tool is pretty big and will need additional resources that take up a lot of room. But don’t worry! This is just something you do once unless they add more libraries later on.

Similarities to Glaze

Nightshade comes from the same team as Glaze. The main difference? While Glaze protects against style copying, Nightshade has its own unique features. You’ll find the interface similar! Just upload your image and tweak the Intensity and Render Quality settings to get started.

The Unique Poison Tag Feature

A cool extra feature of Nightshade is the optional Poison Tag setting. This helps teach AI models an incorrect idea of what your image represents. When you upload your picture, the app analyzes it and suggests a tag that you can change if needed.

Keep in mind that this program only poisons one concept per image. So, take your time choosing the right tag for each picture because it really matters!
