The application runs in the system tray only and you will see the tray icon next to the clock in the taskbar. Double-clicking on the icon deactivates the mouse highlighter. To reactivate it, you simply must double-click the same tray icon once again.

Not just that Nixsoft MouseCast highlights the pointer with a colored circle, but it also shows an animated mouse right next to the cursor in case you click on a mouse button, be it the left, right or the middle button. But there is more. Despite its name, Nixsoft MouseCast can also show the keystrokes for shortcuts you press on the keyboard. The key combinations are shown in a transparent small window near the tray area.
