Every bit of information you need is now reachable with a simple search over the web. In case you're constantly on the lookout for the latest news feeds or simply need to gather data for a research project, you surely need to keep a text editor at hand. This is where Notee comes in handy, letting you quickly save bits of text and organize them as schedules or simple notes.

In terms of visuals, the application is pretty organized and sports a fresh look and feel. You can only use and keep track of your work after creating an account, which adds an extra layer of security over your notes. A calendar is the first impact when the dashboard pops up, letting you organize notes according to the time you have to spare.

Creating a new entry is as easy as double-clicking on the calendar day you want it to be stored in. once done, a common text editor layout is put at your disposal. Not a lot of info is provided so you won't be able to keep track of words, characters or lines.

Customization has little to do with your projects. Text formatting options let you change font, size and color, but there aren't any alignment or positioning tools. Import settings give you the possibility to add images. Oddly enough, the application supports BMP, PGM, PNG and XMB, with JPG nowhere to be found, which is a pretty common type.

On the other hand, you can add attachments just like you would in an email client, with format limitations completely lifted. However, you'll hit a brick wall as soon as you try to export anything, because no such feature is implemented. What cuts a great deal of practicality is the lack of even a simple option to print notes.

To sum it up, Notee is a regular text editor equipped with a modern interface and interactive calendar to make it stand out from the crowd. However, a little time spent using it makes you realize it's not really as different from any other utility of its kind, but rather a poor adaptation because of the lack of exporting options and odd selection of files you can import.
