Note-taking software can make for a shrewd option to lend one a hand in organizing themselves in the ever-chaotic world of today. With so many distractions floating around, a reminder or a note-taking app can help one focus on what's most important to them, as well as act as a diary of sorts for them to jot down their thoughts.

That is the case with Noteee, a fundamentally simple, if rather bare-bones, note-taking program: it occupies the right side of your screen to display your notes, whilst also being able to be used as a reminder app.

As stated prior, this is among the simpler note-taking apps you'll see. For some users, this might just be what they're looking for: create an account, authenticate with your new credentials, and start jotting down what you want to recall or what is of importance.

The interface takes a bit of a different approach: simply put, the app comes in the form of a panel that lists your notes on the right side of your desktop. This can be both a blessing, and a curse: for one, users can have all their notes at-the-ready, as well as use the program as a reminder/memento app. A problem that may arise out of this, however, is that longer, more elaborate notes fail to be displayed properly.

The program might seem quite rudimentary at first, and unfortunately, the first impression hardly changed in my case. The fact that you can toggle hiding the notes panel is neat, but it may start becoming cumbersome with use.

Moreover, the account creation experience is quite spotty. Create an account, log into it, then close the app: it'll ask you to re-enter your account credentials, then inform you that your newly-created user and password no longer work. You'll then have to create another account, and so on.

Noteee takes a different approach with its note-taking, but it makes for a largely lacking experience, mainly due to the occurrence of a few bugs, coupled with the absence of several quality-of-life features, such as cloud integration, a more fleshed-out reminder function, and so forth.
