NotesHolder Lite

This is the compact edition of NotesHolder - a tool that you can use to seamlessly keep track of your sticky notes, in order to better organize tasks. It can be seamlessly handled, as it addresses all types of users, regardless of their skill level.

NotesHolder Lite comprises both an installer and portable edition. The latter option prevents the Windows Registry from getting updates and doesn't leave files on the hard drive after removing the tool. It enables you to save the app to a USB flash disk or similar device, in order to run it on any workstation.

At startup, NotesHolder Lite creates an icon in the system tray menu, providing quick access to the main application window, which represents the tool's user-friendly interface.

You can double-click any area of the main panel and write text using a standard word processing tool. Alternatively, you may select text from any environment and use a hotkey to automatically insert it into a sticky note.

It is possible to mark notes and set up reminders, use a search function when dealing with large amounts of data, as well as export notes to plain text documents.

A few options can be configured for this tool. For instance, you can make NotesHolder Lite automatically run at system startup,  enable the frame to stay on top of other windows, disable the use of system-wide hotkeys, switch to a different UI language, as well as customize the current color scheme, font size and note grouping mode.

The application is very light on the system resources, has a good response time and works well, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error dialogs. Too bad that it has not been updated for a long time. Otherwise, NotesHolder Lite should please all users who prefer a compact application for managing sticky notes in a digital environment.
