Oculus Platform SDK is a development kit that was designed to help advanced computer users, such as programmers or software developers by providing them with the infrastructure they need to generate games or experiences.

However, since API calls are technically web calls, some of them can be performed as server-to-server ones and can be made directly from the backend.
