Orb Browser

Internet browsers these days come into all shapes and sizes and their abundance and variability is comparable to the amount of options users have when venturing out on the Internet. Simply put, there are countless out there, with varying degrees of complexity, but sharing more or less the same core features.

Orb Browser is centered mainly on minimalism and aims to provide a simple package that delivers an unhindered surfing experience, met with few, yet essential features for keeping track of things, such as a bookmark manager, and as an extra, a direct YouTube player.

The design of Orb Browser is simple and clean, offering a good overview and accessible handling. In its particular case, I did not find this simplicity detrimental in terms of functionality, and given its advertisement and intended scope, quite useful, offering efficient handling.

I believe that this simple design manages to encompass all the necessary elements for unhindered browsing, without being at the expense of truncated functionality.

As I was starting to mention in the previous paragraphs, the application comes with very little features, and one of these is a multi-selector for search engines, which allows you to choose the preferred search method quite easily.

Another good feature is the included YouTube player, which will allow you to preview videos directly in a player interface, without having to actually navigate to the corresponding YT URL. Neat. Oh, and yes, the browser does come with an included Ad-blocker, which works pretty well.

Orb Browser comes equipped with a plain design and very little features, which despite their inherent simplicity and scarcity, still manage to amount to an efficient and pleasurable browsing experience.
