Password Generator Vista Gadget is a desktop gadget made for Windows Vista and 7, which gives you the possibility to produce random and secure passwords, according to the conditions you specify.

This way, you can increase the security of your email accounts, wireless network connections, encrypted documents and photos, and anything else of importance.

The widget can be installed with one click, and its interface is represented by a small window with a simple design and layout.

You can continuously click a button until you obtain a password you're comfortable with, as well as create a list with multiple clicks by writing down each generated key.

By default, the tool generates keys made of a random number of characters, as well as upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols. However, you can set a fixed size, ranging between eight and sixteen figures, as well as exclude any type of characters. This configuration can be reset to default anytime.

The application also has a feature designed to test the complexity of specified keys (masked under asterisk) to let you know how secure they really are. For security reasons, generated keys are automatically erased after one minute.

There are no other settings provided by the developer. However, thanks to the built-in Windows options, you can set Password Generator Vista Gadget's frame on top of other windows and adjust its opacity level.
