Let us imagine a scenario where you have to create oodles of shortcuts for various Explorer items. Well, no biggie, as they say: you can either undergo the annoying "Create Shortcut" wizard or copy the item in question to your computer's clipboard and use the dedicated Alt+H+P+S keyboard shortcut.

Truth be told, the even the latter option is not quite comfortable since it requires you to use both hands or if you go for the one hand approach, well, let's just say you'll get a clear view of how a game of one-handed Twister would look like.

This is where Paste Shortcut comes into play, ready to lend a helping hand. Basically, this tiny, lightweight, and unobtrusive utility replaces the extremely uncomfortable, aforementioned shortcut with an even simpler one, namely ALT+S.

It does all that without requiring any special attention on your part. Just download the utility, unzip its package, launch it via its dedicated executable file and that's about it.

You might notice that once launched, this straightforward, one-purpose utility automatically integrates with your computer's taskbar.

From its taskbar menu, you can access a relatively simplistic yet quite significant Settings section that allows you to change the ALT+S shortcut with a custom one of your choosing, you know, useful if the upper mentioned is already associated with other apps or tasks. Yes, it would have been nice if the app boasted a "Run on system startup" option, but that's just us being nitpickers.

That said, this is definitely not an impressive app and, even more so, it won't actually appeal to a broad range of users out there. Be that as it may, Past Shortcut is a very efficient app that does its job right, and it will surely make a few users out there quite grateful for its existence.
