When working with PCAPNG files, pcapfix inspects all packet headers right from the get-go. It ensures that both section headers and interface description blocks exist; if they don't, it'll create them just like with the global header in regular PCAP files.

The command you use for pcapfix looks like this: "pcapfix [OPTIONS] filename". You can tell it whether you’re scanning a PCAP or a PCAPNG file by using options like -n for PCAPNG or -o <file> if you want to save to a new file instead of overwriting.
