Most PC users choose one wallpaper and stick to it for a long period of time. If you cannot pass the opportunity to transform your screen into eye candy, having wallpaper slideshows with neat transitions could help. Perspective is a smart wallpaper changer that runs as many slideshows as you wish, infusing more life into your desktop.

The first step in the app's configuration is to determine the folder paths — the wallpaper source directories. The Slideshow Builder will take care of that.

Once a folder is selected, click Search to reveal all matching files. Each wallpaper has a checkbox with it. If you want to exclude certain images, uncheck the box. Click Create to generate the slideshow set.

After the Builder completes its task, the main Perspective UI pops up. The compact dashboard sports a preview panel where all slideshow items are listed.

Before running any slideshow, you must check out what it can do. A transition interval changer lets you set the time between wallpaper from 5 seconds to 12 hours. In case your rig has multiple monitors, targeting a specific one, or all of them is another perk.

For the eye candy to be as sweet as possible, only HD images should be used. However, if you disagree, you can set the minimum image size to whatever resolution you wish. From the moment you set a fixed pixel number, any slideshow item that won't match that requirement will be skipped.

Transitioning is a subject in itself with Perspective. The piece of resistance is the 44 transition collection. Visit the Favorite Transitions tab from the Options menu to check out the transitions. Check the boxes of those you want to be deployed, and uncheck the ones you want to exclude.

Click the play button once you are happy with how the configuration process went. The slideshows will then run in the background accordingly. You can add Perspective to the startup and run your favorite slides.
