Presentation Pointer

Presentation Pointer is a lightweight software application developed specifically to be used as a presentation and demonstration tool. It comes packed with a “spotlight” for highlighting the area around your mouse cursor and dimming the rest of the desktop, various visual and audible mouse click effects, as well as visible keystrokes.

The tool reveals a clean lineup of features where most of the settings can be configured with minimal effort. Plus, you can also access the program’s functions via the system tray.

Presentation Pointer comes packed with several built-in parameters designed to help you draw attention upon your mouse pointer in different ways.

You can use an eye-catching cursor, highlight the area that surrounds the mouse pointer with a geometric shape (circle, ellipse, rectangle, or round rectangle), or emphasize areas using different “spotlight” shapes (e.g. circle, ellipse). Advanced functions enable you to customize all the aforementioned mouse highlighting options in terms of opacity, size, and color.

The utility gives you the possibility to tweak the mouse clicks by defining the radius of the circle, color for left and right-click operations, animating the click by expanding the circles from the original clicking point, entering the duration of the click animation, as well as activating mouse click sounds when the button is pressed or released.

A great feature bundled in this tool lets you reveal on the screen the keys that you press (including modifiers keys, such as Shift, Alt, Windows, and Ctrl). Plus, you can apply fading out effects, and change the font size and color.

The drawing mode gives you the freedom to draw on the screen freehand designs, and you can choose the pen size, opacity, and color. You may insert horizontal or vertical lines and arrows, as well as zoom in or out of the screen. Last but not least, you can use hotkeys for a better control over the entire process, which can be reassigned, and run the utility at Windows startup.
