PriMus-IFC

You can export the data in a widely used format – DOCX, XLSX or DCF – and easily adjust the values using the appropriate software solutions if the situation calls for it.

If you are using PriMus, then you can integrate the additional data into the design and hence, make sure that the links with the BIM entities are never lost. In fact, if you combine the data with PriMus, then any changes made to the model are going to be automatically updated in the estimation file as well.

While the program has the role of connecting the schematics to the construction estimate, you should know that it also acts as a viewer that enables you to examine 3D CAD files without having to install and configure plugins or other external viewers.

The utility supports a plethora of IFC files, including but not limited to AllPlan, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Vectorworks, Revit, Edificius and other software solutions that are buildingSMART certified. Then again, this is not a simple viewer, as the app enables you to preview all related information that you might need to prepare a quantity take-off or construction estimate.
