How to Set Up Your Private Folder

Once you've downloaded Private_Folder, the first step is to open it with your favorite text editor. Look for the line that says if NOT %pass%==YOUR PASSWORD goto FAIL. Here, you'll swap out YOUR PASSWORD with the secret password you want to use. Easy enough, right?

Saving Your Passwords Securely

Now, save that file where you want your new folder to be. When you're ready, just double-click on it! This will create your hidden folder. Now it's time to fill it up with all those important files—documents, pictures, or anything else you don't want others to see.

Keeping Your Folder Hidden

The best part? Even if someone turns on the Show Hidden Files option on their computer, they still won't see your folder! It stays completely invisible unless you access the script again and enter the password you set earlier.
