Project Hydra

Project Hydra provides an overclocking software tool that can assess the real performance of AMD's Zen 3 processors. Its purpose is to offer much more control to owners of Ryzen 5000 by replacing AMD’s boosting algorithm inside the processors. The application brings to the table multiple tweaks and customization possibilities for the new profile, allowing users to obtain custom combinations of voltage and frequency. In other words, it can be used to perform undervolting and determine the ideal voltages for the CPU.

The main window looks more like a dashboard that allows the quick and easy monitoring of all the parameters, with options to view the available threads and their statuses, as well as all the other parameters.

The utility can provide various profiles for voltage and clock speed that helps users achieve different single-threaded or multi-threaded workloads. It allows working with multiple customizable profiles and provides options to save the current profiles or disable them, create and load backups. Project Hydra can determine the Curve Optimizer values for the Ryzen processor, and combine PBO + CO and manual overclocking.

The recommended voltages in Project Hydra are similar to AMD's default voltages, in an attempt to keep the application as safe as possible to use. Needless to say, any modifications and tests you perform on Ryzen processor outside its default settings and configuration will void the warranty.
