QR Code Scanner

QR Code Scanner is more than the name might imply. In fact, it is a QR scanner and creator, and a simple one at that too.

It does not allow a suite of options, but I must say that I was happy to see that simple also meant fast and accessible. It might not be of interest to individuals who find these simple apps satisfactory, but for a simple user who wants fast results, it will work just the same.

Once the application is opened, you will have to allow it to use your camera for the scanning part. As far as the creation of codes is concerned, there really is no need for adjustments other than adding some sort of phrase, code, or written input which will then trigger the creation of said QR code.

I was quite pleased to see that the resulting codes could be exported as .JPEG and used with whatever projects I still had going around my house.

The application can also import/read QR codes which are in digital format. Thus, it's a scanner that does not always need to scan QR codes to deliver results. This is somewhat of an interesting aspect, and I honestly felt it was also unique.

Provided you have some sort of small business going on, there really is no reason to use more complex software as this will do just fine without complicating your life for no reason.

QR Code Scanner is fast, and it definitely is helpful in many situations where you'd least expect it. I was surprised to see how efficient the program was even though at first I thought it was a bit simple for my tastes and needs. The scanning/importing QR feature won me over.
