Fast Compression Levels

With QuickLZ, you can choose from four different compression levels. This means you can pick how much compression you want based on your needs. Plus, it even offers optional streaming compression! However, keep in mind that to make these adjustments, you'll need to set them up in the source code. You’ll find these settings at the start of the quicklz.c file. After that, just compile it, and you're good to go!

Important Settings to Know

When using QuickLZ, there are some important flags related to COMPRESSION_LEVEL and STREAMING_MODE. Here’s a quick tip: if you compress data using level 0, remember that it can only be decompressed with level 0 as well. Also, the data must be decompressed with the same STREAMING_MODE setting used during compression. So make sure to keep track of what settings you're using for compatibility later!
