Random Password Generator is a free and portable tool that gives you the possibility to generate powerful keys to protect your sensitive information, whether we're talking about files, folders, docs, photos, email accounts, or anything else important. It's capable of creating multiple keys at the same time and enables you to customize its complexity.

Since there's no installation involved, you can drop the downloaded files in a preferred directory on the disk and simply double-click the .exe to launch Random Password Generator. Another option is to keep it stored on a removable storage unit, in order to seamlessly run it on any computer with minimum effort and no previous setup.

It doesn't add new entries to the Windows registry or need DLLs to run. However, it creates a file in the same location as itself when saving your passwords.

As far as the GUI is concerned, the utility adopts a normal window that doesn't have visually striking elements, yet it's easy to navigate.

The password complexity can be defined by including or excluding uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Moreover, you can create a list with user-defined symbols to include while excluding the rest, set the number of characters, as well as tell the program how many passwords you want to generate.

This task doesn't take long. The keys are displayed in the main window and can be copied to the Clipboard or saved to a plain text document with one click. Unfortunately, it doesn't give you the possibility to change the saving directory and filename.

Although it hasn't received updates for a long time, it worked smoothly in our tests, without triggering the operating system to hang, crash or prompt errors. CPU and RAM usage was low. Thanks to its intuitive GUI and options, Random Password Generator can be used by anyone.
