RanMon is a cool desktop software that helps you keep an eye on the uptime of any domains. It sends ping commands to check if your connections are working, and it does all this with very little effort on your part!
You don’t have to go through a complicated installation process. Just copy the package file anywhere on your hard drive and launch the EXE file directly. It’s super portable too! You can even save it on a pen drive or other removable storage devices to run it on any computer.
The tool has a clean and simple interface that fits into one window. Everything you need is right there, so whether you're a tech whiz or a beginner, you won’t run into any configuration issues.
To get started, just type in the domain you want to monitor, pick your settings, and you're good to go! You can set how often you want to ping (that’s how often it checks), decide how many HTTP connections you want (the number of pings sent), and even set the connection timeout.
While monitoring, you'll see important details like how many connections passed or failed, the domain status, starting date, IP address, host's address, and ping response time in milliseconds. However, remember that you can only monitor domains by their website names; IP addresses aren't supported yet. Also, make sure to save your logs manually since there's no autosave feature.
In our tests, RanMon completed tasks quickly without any errors. Plus, it didn’t slow down our computer at all since it uses very little CPU and memory.
All in all, RanMon stands out as a fast and reliable program for monitoring domains effortlessly while keeping tabs on their status with ease!
