RuneScape is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) that enables you to connect with your friends in a fantasy world and take on numerous quests and adventures.

Within the game, you get to create your customizable characters and interact with NPCs to get details about your surroundings or new quests, or chat with your friends, join clans, and organize campaigns.

When you register for a RuneScape account, you get to customize the appearance of your character (gender, haircut, skin color, clothes, and so on), and then you are directed to Ashdale, a guided tutorial.

Here you must perform basic tasks in order to understand how you can interact with the environment and the other characters. For your convenience, RuneScape provides instructions both about how and what you should be doing.

Depending on the complexity of the completed task, you receive experience points and level ups, you get to learn new battle skills, to collect useful items for future quests, and much more.

Within the RuneScape fantasy world, you can use mini-maps and the teleport function to get to different locations and accept quests from various NPCs to gather more experience points and skills.

The game features more than 100 quests that can be sorted by difficulty, but there are also other filters included (some of the quests are members only).

Gaining as much experience points as you can is crucial because that means that you get to increase your level in various skills and unlock additional activities. In turn, you will be able to take on more powerful opponents and gain more experience points.

RuneScape enables you to explore a fantasy world where you can take on quests or challenges on your own, or make new friends that can help you complete certain tasks. RuneScape comes with built-in chat, allows trading, and also incorporates fun minigames that will also bring you experience points.

The game will log all your achievements and comes with an extended list of characteristics and skills for your hero, which means that you get to create quite unique characters.
