RyzenAdj, like the name implies, is an application dedicated to AMD Mobile Processor users. This means that unless your machine has one of these very specific chips inside it, there's not much else one can do with it. In terms of what it does to help AMD Ryzen owners, it basically adjusts the power management for a more balanced experience in terms of performance and functionality.

One must keep in mind that in order to make use of this program, some basic knowledge about how to operate the command line program on Windows is required. You'll need to launch the terminal with administrator rights. Once you manage to locate and run the application from within the command line, if in doubt, use the "-help" action to find out what other commands are available.

This application, although looking so simple, does have a list of adjustments that can be triggered by the user. For example, you can adjust the values for Sustained, Average, and actual Power Limit. The app can also be used to underclock and decrease full load temps, of course, at the cost of performance loss.

RyzenAdj is a tool designed to give more experienced users access to settings that would otherwise be inaccessible. Like in the case of any other type of freedom, being able to change the working particularities of your AMD chip also means a great risk you'll have to accept.
