Accessing Features Easily

You can access its features through a context menu that pops up either from the system tray or when you highlight some text that you want to copy. It’s pretty straightforward!

Selecting Text Like a Pro

To use Screen OCR, just click on its icon in the system tray. This makes your whole desktop ready for selection! You can then use your mouse to pick the area where the text is located. Once you've highlighted what you need, the tool processes it and shows you the text it managed to grab.

Multiple Save Options

You have different save options available once Screen OCR grabs the text. You can choose to ‘Copy Text’, ‘Add Text to OCR.txt’, ‘Edit As Plain Text’, or even ‘Send Text By Email’. However, keep in mind that if you're working with unusual fonts, they might not be interpreted correctly every time.

Capture Images Too!

This handy tool isn’t just about text; it can also capture images! Think of it as a screenshot utility as well. Once you've grabbed an image, you can preview it in a submenu and save it in formats like JPG, BMP, PNG, or TIFF. Plus, editing or printing is a breeze with your default software!
