The same computer can be used by multiple individuals, and each can have its own account on a Windows computer. In this regard, Secure Runner gives you the possibility to configure a handful of programs to run without asking for credentials every time.

Although it may seem like a complicated activity, at least in theory, you don’t have to worry, with the application managing to make a proper first impression through the simple, yet intuitive design. Sets of options can be accessed from separate sections, each fitted with thorough descriptions so you get an idea what they do.

The first thing on the list is the administrator account manager. It’s the place where you get to write down your account’s details, given you’re the administrator, and have them saved and encrypted. This is so the program knows what details to use when target programs are accessed from regular accounts.

Next up, you can configure two categories of items that can be allowed or not. One of them stands for programs, and it’s as easy as selecting the specific executable file. You can also add parameters for extra functions. The other category represents services, with the possibility to install custom ones on other accounts, and even have them tested.

Last but not least, the final component of the application target shortcuts on other user desktops. Unfortunately, you can’t add more shortcuts from your own desktop, to be accessed with administrator privileges, but you can have them redirected, and restored if something happens.
