Service Security Editor is a smart utility that can help users that are managing teams with computer access and for users at home that share the computer and want to set up restrictions for children or for anybody that uses that PC.
The app helps you grant or remove admin privileges based on your assessment. You can exclude permissions for some processes if you want full control over it, or you can decide what permissions should be offered if helps with the work.
Upon startup, Service Security Editor shows you the list of services running on your system. If you need to grant a user permissions to that service, open it and add the user's name in the group tab. From there, click on his name and a list with all permissions is going to be listed below. SImply check the wanted files and hit Apply. Now that user has the exact permissions you had set up.
If you need to offer the same permissions to multiple users, simply add them all to the same group and thick the same boxes for everyone.
At home, you can restrict children's activity on some programs as you see fit, as long as they connect from another user and not from your admin one.
In conclusion, Service Security Editor is handy that can quickly add or remove privileges for any user that is not an admin, at work or home. Any user can easily operate it as it has an intuitive UI and does not require high technical skills.
