SharpE

SharpE is a graphical shell that comes bundled with several customization features, in order to enhance your desktop's abilities. It can be easily handled, even by less experienced users.

Once SharpE has been loaded to the desktop, you can notice that the wallpaper and icon style have changed, while the start bar and context menu have a different, more stylish appearance.

From the SharpE menu you can access 'My Computer', 'Control Panel, 'Documents', 'Startmenu', 'Quick Launch' and 'Run' along with SharpE sources (e.g. root directory, debug console).

But you can also add a new desktop object, configure desktop settings (e.g. objects, menu), as well as manage services, themes and toolbars. Plus, you can add notes with the help of a word processor, monitor RAM and SWP activity.

Additional features of SharpE allow you to load a media player, create and manage toolbar and module configurations, change the interface skin and bar position, as well as set the app to automatically hide and to run at Windows startup, as well as to show module buttons and to stay on top of other programs.

The app is stable, requires a moderate amount of CPU and system memory, and has a good response time. We have not encountered any issues during our tests; SharpE did not cause the computer to freeze, crash or pop up error dialogs.
