Show All Files is a free and super easy-to-use OS X tool. It helps you hide or show files and folders without having to mess with Terminal commands. How cool is that?
This handy app has a clean, minimalist interface that lets you toggle file visibility with just one button press. No more complicated steps!
The top buttons on the Show All Files app can quickly reveal or hide those sneaky files that Mac OS X usually keeps hidden by default. You can even create your own list of files and folders to keep hidden or visible whenever you want!
You can import the items you want to work with simply by dragging and dropping them into the app. Or, use the Add Folders and Add Files buttons attached to the Show All Files list box.
Once you've got your items in there, just choose one of two options: Make Loaded Files / Folders Invisible or Make Loaded Files / Folders Visible. It’s that straightforward!
If you need to rebuild the Spotlight index for a specific volume, you can do that too! Just drag and drop the volume onto the Rebuild Now button. This is super handy if you want to make sure all your changes are properly indexed.
The Show All Files app is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, making it quick and easy for anyone to toggle hidden files in Mac Finder. Plus, it’s great for ensuring that Spotlight has re-indexed content from certain volumes.
If you're looking for an easy way to manage hidden files on your Mac, check out this tool! For more info, download it here!
