ShutItDown RBS

ShutItDown RBS is a straightforward and approachable software tool whose goal is to let you schedule an automatic power option for your computer, whether we're talking about shutdown, log off or restart. It supports multiple and recurring tasks.

Getting the program up and running is a brief job that doesn't impose any difficulties. It creates an icon in the taskbar notifications area once launched, running silently in the background until its process is called. The main window is small and lets you get into the configuration immediately.

A new task can be put together by pointing out the power option, date and time, and repeat mode. You can create as many tasks as you want and edit their properties later. For example, it is possible to make the jobs inactive instead of removing them from the list.

The primary panel shows remaining time until the next task, along with the total number of active tasks. ShutItDown RBS also lets you switch to another language for the interface, set and change an admin password to restrict the access of other users, as well as view log details with past scheduled tasks. ShutItDown RBS automatically runs at every Windows startup by default, but this option can be disabled.

We have not found any unpleasant surprises in our tests, thanks to the fact that ShutItDown RBS did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It does not put a strain on computer performance, since it runs on low CPU and memory.

ShutItDown RBS features some pretty useful options and configuration parameters for creating and managing scheduled PC power options, and it can be handled by anyone with ease.
