SimpleDownloader is a tiny and portable piece of software that you can use to download content from online sources. It does not come packed with complicated options or configuration settings, making it accessible to all types of users, even the ones with little or no experience in such software.

Since there is no setup pack involved, you can extract the program files to any part of the hard disk and just click the executable to run.

Another option is to save SimpleDownloader to a USB flash disk or other removable storage unit, in order to run it on any PC with minimum effort and no previous installers.

An important aspect worth mentioning is that the tool does not modify Windows registry settings or create additional files on the HDD without your consent, so it does not leave any traces behind after its removal.

The GUI is represented by a regular window with a plain and simple layout, where you can type or paste a web address, and click a button to scan it for available resources.

The list of results shows the type, domain and file name for each item, among other details. It is possible to download selected files with the click of a button, open the output directory in Windows Explorer, as well as to view the image files in the currently selected location.

We have not come across any issues in our tests, since SimpleDownloader did not hang, crash or pop up error messages. It has a good response time and works fine, without causing the OS to hang, crash or pop up error messages.

Although it is not particularly resourceful in its feature-set, SimpleDownloader offers a simple solution to downloading various online sources.
