Small Auction DBs is a great tool to help you make Settlements super easy! You only need one number for each participant to buy and sell. Plus, it has some handy error checking. For example, you can't list or save data that wasn't created, and you can’t sell lots if they haven’t been assigned to sellers.

Simplifying the Process

When you first use the software, it will ask for a filename. The first step is either to retrieve previous data or assign sellers to lots. Once your auction kicks off, just enter the price and buyer number.

Automatic Data Saving

Here’s a neat feature: every time you log every 10th buyer, all your current data gets saved automatically! If you need to enter multiple sellers or buyers quickly, just press S for Sellers or B for Buyers. If you use the Setup option, you can even set a minimum sale value—let’s say more than £2—so that any sales below £3 will go straight to seller 0 for the auction organizers.

Check Seller and Buyer Positions

If things get busy during sales, don’t worry! You can pause and check on a seller or buyer's position anytime. You can also print out records of who has been accessed. The Setup option lets you change other settings too, like what commission to charge.
