Nowadays there are quite a few applications out there that are designed to enable users watch tens and hundreds of TV channels online.
A similar tool that works a bit different, though, is Spectrum TV. It comes closer to its users with a more than simple approach to online television: full TV episodes that can be watched with a single click. However, it is important to keep in mind that some of the content is restricted to specific countries.
The setup process you are required to go through runs quite seamlessly, without encountering any unpleasant surprises during it. The tool has a pretty clean interface which encloses a menu bar, several buttons and a few panels in which to view a list of all available series and information about them.
Consequently, it becomes quite clear that all types of users can learn how to handle it with ease, including those with little or no previous experience with computers.
First and foremost, it is important to keep in mind that you might have to start with an update of all channels and feeds, so that you can be sure you have access to the latest content. This process might take a while, so be sure to build up some patience. It is possible to browse movies, streams, videos or radio stations in a jiffy, while you can also add new items.
The main window offers you the possibility of viewing all the aforementioned items in lists, along with information such as type, category, language, ratings from you or other users and details. In addition to that, you can also view a short description, all available sources and the actual episodes at your disposal.
A search function is available so that you can find specified items faster, while it is also possible to add a series to Favorites, report items as inactive or rate them.
All things considered, Spectrum TV is a decent solution that could come in very handy for anyone who wants to watch full episodes of their favorite television broadcasts. Although the computer’s performance was not hindered, in our tests, very few videos where actually detected.
