Speed o'key is a handy app that helps you find out how fast you can type in any text editor. It's pretty cool, right? Whether you're writing a paper or just sending messages, knowing your typing speed can be super useful.

How It Works

The magic starts when you press at least three keys in one second. Once that happens, the counter kicks in automatically. You'll notice a change in the color of the indicator, which tells you the counter is on. From then on, it keeps track of every key you hit on your keyboard.

Waiting Mode

If there's no key pressed for three seconds, the counter goes into waiting mode. The indicator color changes again to let you know. But don't worry! As soon as you start typing again, it jumps back into action without counting that idle time.

Resetting the Counter

If you ever want to restart the counter, it's super easy! Just click on the colored indicator and voilà—it resets to its starting point!
